What's the bulletin from the dealer say?

Gonna have to call BS on that detail from the dealer VRunner. No matter how full/empty my tank is I feel the bump and watch my RPM's drop. Should it be a fuel level issue I would then assume it's starving the pump thus dropping the RPM's. But to your point, under a half tank and it goes away would not support that. I'm still thinking it's a TC issue. Now how do I get my dealer to look into it.

Perhaps you are having a different issue than he is. Yours may be a late downshift.

I just got back from a 1,000 ride, pulling a boat ---- and exactly what I found.

When stopping with above 3/4 to a half tank, bumps almost every time. Below a half tank, it goes away. When full, or only down a few (1-6) gallons, it doesn't do it either.

2011 Laramie CC, 34 gal tank.

p.s. Boat weighs about a ton, plus about 850# in the bed, and averaged 15.9 MPG, not exceeding the speed limit.

Yep, that's the 'gas tank bump'. Seems like it has to do with the larger fuel tank.

There do seem to be several issues that people have going on. The fuel tank one is very obvious once you start looking for it. If someone has another mystery 'bump' and it doesn't correlate to fuel level, or it involves RPM changes, it is something else. I know on our Grand Cherokee with the same Hemi and transmission it had a very rare stop bump that felt like someone hit you from behind. It was way more intense than the fuel tank bump. Seems likely the RAM could be afflicted with the same transmission issue too.

I'm pretty sure that is the issue I'm having. Haven't felt the bump once since the tank was below 1/2. Above 1/2 you could feel it pretty consistantly unless you rolled to a stop gradually.
