Hit the satellite button on the sound system this morning, and all sound in the car died. I could still see the display (song that was playing, etc.) but no sound anywhere. However, when I hit the hands free PHONE button, the radio started playing out over the phone instructions, and stayed on until I disconnected the phone. No other function (CD, bluestream, AM, FM, AUX, etc) produced sound, UNLESS the phone button is pushed. Anyone else encountered this?

 

I had the sat radio go nuts in my truck twice in the 2 years I've had it. In my case the display was blank, radio playing and none of the buttons worked. Let it sit over night both times and it worked again.

Bad radio I'd say.

 

I had the same issue. Dealer did everything including radio updates and troubleshooting and since it was intermittent they couldn't find anything. I ended up buying a used radio on ebay and it never happened again. I would say the radio needs replacing....
