Hello all new to the site my name is michael and im 31 years old, my question to yall is i just got my max energy power programer in today was very excited to see it on the porch when i got home ran in opened it up and installed took about 10 min tops maybe turned the radio off unpluged my cellphone charger made sure everthing was off like always did the installtion and went to take a ride as soon as i started my truck up i felt a difference in it if thats crazy dunno lol but i went and took off nice and slow going down the street git up to 30 mph and boom it was like the rev limiter was stoppin me from going anymore couldnt go above 30 pulled over turned the truck off and waited a bit and tryed again still the same thing...turned back around and parked in the garage and put it back to stock and its back to normal....has anyone had this problem before went to call hypertech but they were already closed...was looking forward to this espically in the morning going to work but dont look like its gonna happen......i have a 2010 dodge ram 1500 hemi only mod i have is just a flowmaster and k&n filter thanx for any help Max Energy Power Programmer - Part #52001

 

Ok I think I might of stepped ahead of myself maybe to excited where it says tire size and starts with 30mph I left it there thinking that would bring my top speed limited plus 30 is that the reason why it wouldn't go passed 30? I just went and re programmed it and changed that to 125 so we will see in the morning on the way to work I'll let y'all know

 

Can't help ya there. 90% of they people here use either Diablosport Predators or Superchips tuners.

Yeah, that would do it. Shame you didn't join here before you bought it though because if you think you like the difference you feel with the Hypertech, you'd be floored with what a Diablo or Superchips or even an SCT does...

 

Ya well I have a 30 day money guarantee so i may try them out
