I pull 2,600 worth of jet ski's with 200lbs of tongue weight and don't even know it's back there either. Were talking 500 lbs of tongue weight and 7K on the trailer and it gets as best as I could describe it is a trampoline effect. Adjusting the surge brakes and putting in the bags helped some but it's still annoying towing the boat with the constant jarring, which the ford NEVER did and I was towing at it's max payload.

Does anyone know if the 3.92 rear helps with the towing?

Sounds to me like the stock shocks are the culprit, they arent capable of stoping the bounce.

I had Bilstein HD (yellow body) shocks on my last truck and it helped this type of thing greatly. They will firm up the ride.
