Nope, I would imagine since they do not have the cover to inspect they could only speculate, only thing that worries me is I bought this one month after they were introduced so it has been in use almost as long as they have existed, so are there any others out there that are having problems? I am looking at the rollbak pretty much now for the future or a full metal jack rabbit maybe in the future, if this one doesn't last. I would imagine it was a manufacturing issue from what I can tell, all the people I now who have them have no problems, funny things is this seemed to come up in the last month, I kept noticing the white reflection and initially thought it was from ash on the wind from grass fires in the two adjacent counties over the last month and half, but it's not unfortunately, all products have some that have issues, guess I got one of them, oh well thats whey there is a warranty.

Well received the new cover and it is lighter and nice than the original, hopefully this one will not fail.

On another note, I have the old one with a set of rails but no clamps for sale now. Yes it will need to be reworked sanded and maybe coated with some sort of hard paint or glass and paint, can't seem to throw it out sure someone would want it out there, first $200 takes it, prefer local pickup, if no takers I'll put it on ebay, PM me!

Well 1 year and 8 months after warranty replacement, I go out today to clean truck and I am starting to notice a familiar problem from last cover, initially I am waxing the metal trim and noticed the white fiberglass starting to show in the FRP cover and of course now that I look closer at the cover I am noticing the cracks in the gelcoat! f%#k!!! I am done with the F1! Guess I am gonna have to call Julian tomorrow an see whats up, 2 covers, cant be me, I baby this truck! Anyone else in hot sunny climates having this issue.

I'm not seeing that, but one of the panels on mine is all bubbled like it has separated from whatever the skin is attached to.

when this things is in the hot sun you can smell the fiberglass odor, wondering if the off-gasing is causing the cracks.

Good to know there are still American Companies out there that honor their warranties....Good to read positive stuff like that.

Well They are going to replace under warranty again! !!!
For the record Bak Industries has been the best company that I ever had to deal with, and will continue to support. A warning to all owners, they say that wax is not good on the F1 and will probably soon put a product update out, as I have mostly used 303 on this product, they are saying wax in general is bad for it. I urge all owners to go out and inspect your cover meticulously as these cracks are small and do blend with texture unless you look closely, and use 303 if not aleasy using this product. I am going to see if they will upgrade me to their rollbak instead of the F1, just want to get out of the product all together and try one of their others. Any thoughts on the rollbak?

I sent them an email about mine just now, but I'm kind of wondering if the bubbling/delamination of the one panel is from it flexing when I stand on it to load my kayaks. Not sure that is an approved use

Have never owned an F1 but have owned other type of covers, button/snap, peal and seal and now a tri-fold from best top, never had issues, I am a stickler for keeping the truck clean as well as the cover, I use cleaners designed for the covers which may explain my good fortune but will keep an eye on this cover for issues.

Not sure if you mean the roll-x, but yes I have this and will say I love it. I had the F1 and had to silicone th rails and spray the rubber hinge to keep water out. The roll x is water tight, as in not a drop gets in my bed, and when I roll it back it turns heads,,,,
