Default New 1500 Laramie Dead Batt 2000 miles

The last two days my truck has had a dead (real dead) battery in the morning not very cold yet 45 at overnight..
Can't find anything left on ???
Any Ideas ?

I could not find any service bulletins on this issue. I agree with the other posters that, unfortunately, a trip to the dealer is in order to solve this issue.

It'll be covered under warranty....but it's prob. caused by a dead cell... batteries do this time to time. wouldn't be to worried.

I agree. A shorted plate will drain the whole battery while sitting. To rule out the battery, with it charged, let it sit overnight with the battery unhooked. If it kills itself, then you know it's the battery, if it stays up, then something in the truck is staying on.
If you have access to a DC amp clamp, you could check for current draw with the truck off as well.

Dealer time is right. With so many peoples batteries dying like this I wonder how long before something is done?

If you hook a voltmeter up to it and your reading less than 12V on a fresh charged battery (pull it out and charge it on your work bench and let it sit for a bit), that's one way to eliminate that something is drawing power and that a cell is dead.
