Default Programmer ? Which one to get?

Hi, my Christmas gift from me to me is gonna be a programmer for my 2010 TRX 4 mango tango Ram.

Now the question is: which one should I get between the Bullydog, Diablo or Superchips?

I read about most and came out those 3 as the best reviews. There is Pros and Cons about all but want the opinions of people's that experimented them for a while now.

I tow a travel trailer in the summer ( 8000 lbs) ride over size tires and want little improvement on mpg's as well if possible.

Thanks!

I had this same question not to long ago and with a couple weeks of research and asking on the forum and people i know they seem to think the Bully Dog Triple GT is the best for Ram. It does most the things the Diablo tunner does (Bully Dog is $200 less) and if you have fog lights you can run those with brights. It is a code reader and eraser too, keeps stats of 1/8 & 1/4 miles and a couple other things like 0-60 and has the driving coach. I know nothing of Super Chip bc things i read didnt even put it up there with the other 2. Also i herd people having problems with the Diablo but it may have been previous software issues.

I don't know if you read my post on another thread...but you CANT have fog lights on with your highs on the 2010. Bullydog as taken that option away as well as the seat belt minder and drls. If your still happy about the whole driving coach then ya go bullydog, but I have heard good tuning reviews from superchips. And it also seems like they are coming out with new technology that incorporates tuning and whatnot into your smartphone...just thought I would give you a heads up about bullydog...

Okay everyone you talk to you will hear this or that about tuners, there are tons of threads regarding this topic.

I am personally running SC Cortex in my 2009 RAM 1500, QC, HEMI. I went w/ SC after doing extensive research for the amount of good reviews between the two SC gained my side for many reasons. One reason is the positive reviews that it has on the HEMI, the HP gain it has. Two it has a two year power train warranty(cortex only) with it (if the dealer decides to call you out on having a tuner and something were to go bad). Three the power this tuner puts out on the 93 Octane tune is just OUTSTANDING SC claims 40 HP, I have not dyno'd it so I do not know how accurate that really is!! Four the customer service...

When I called Diablo and SC companies before buying to ask a few questions SC customer service answered all my questions went the extra step to talk w/ me, and Diablo referred my to there site to get info to my questions and were rather quick to push me to there site...**** poor customer service and when I purchase a couple hundred $$ product from you I expect some kind of customer service....you treat me like I am a scum bag I will bring my business elsewhere and preach the other product (sorry about the rant).

Darek.... haha jk w/ yah bud!But page 52 of the manual....regarding Belt Alert, no need for a programmer to do this.

BeltAlert can be enabled or disabled by your authorized
dealer or by following these steps:
NOTE: The following steps must occur within the first
60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON
or START position. Chrysler LLC does not recommend
deactivating the BeltAlert.
1. With all doors closed and the ignition switch in any
position except ON or START, buckle the driver’s seat belt.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and wait
for the Seat Belt Reminder Light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds of starting the vehicle, unbuckle
and then re-buckle the driver’s seat belt at least three
times within 10 seconds, ending with the seat belt
buckled.
4. Turn off the engine. A single chime will sound to
signify that you have successfully completed the
programming.
BeltAlert can be reactivated by repeating this procedure.
NOTE: Although BeltAlert has been deactivated, the
Seat Belt Reminder Light will continue to illuminate
while the driver’s seat belt remains unbuckled.

Nate your right, it's SuperChips Vivid, if I remember correctly (don't know how much I'd trust that thing through a phone haha) but it's supposedly out there. I personally love my SC tuner, it might not be as "flashy as the $500" tuner w/ the color screen that mounts in your truck (another item to be stolen)...
