Parkview rear back up camera On window sticker but not on truck
Have same issue-Picked up my 2012 Laramie today. Drove home-put in reverse-no camera-shows as standard on window sticker-Does have parking rear assist which I ordered and paid extra for-Dealer is checking out.
Just picked up a new 2012 Laramie (12/11 build date) today and it does have the camera, its listed on the LH side of the window sticker under safety. Another Laramie parked next to it had the 250.00 park-sense option but the last line of the options said 'delete back-up camera' and it didnt have the camera.
If you go to build a truck on Dodge's website the park sense or park view are both optional on the Laramie so I dont know what the deal is, the Dodge Canada site says its standard on the Laramie, US Dodge site says 'available'
As usual Dodge is all over the place on this, kind of like the quad headlight thing a while ago. One dealer I talked to said that the camera was NOT standard equipment on a Laramie and the other (where I bought the truck) said it was.
I was also a little disappointed the remote start was no longer standard (was on my 2010), didnt notice that until I got home and seen its now optional.

By law, they are responsible to give you EVERY item listed on the window sticker. I saw an incident at my local dealer where the window sticker was placed on the wrong truck, vin numbers didn't match and it was never caught until the guy read about an option that was on the sticker that was not on his truck. I forget the option, but it wasn't a major one and could have been added by the dealer.
When the mistake was found, Chrysler had to buy back the vehicle and since the one that the actual sticker was for could not be located, they had to offer him his choice of his money back or wait for one to be built to the EXACT specifications he and the dealer agreed to (the sticker on the truck). Since he didn't want to wait like 3 months for a build, they basically credited him the money and he used it on another truck on the lot.
Take it back to the dealer and tell them you want the camera or you are taking the window sticker to a lawyer. It won't go that far, they know the law...

I'm a little lost, if the sticker says you should have it yet you don't, why aren't you talking to the dealer about installing it, on his dime? Seems like a simple request that any dealer should handle without issue or charge.
Dealer is going to handle camera and install if Dodge won't. Was told camera is standard with 730N radio but if you order 430N instead-no camera-have to order for Extra $200 which makes 730 vs 430 only $200 difference. They agreed does not say that on Dodge spec website or on window sticker. they are being good about it.
