Sorry for the delay guys. I have not been getting email updates saying I had a response.

Yes I do have a reason for 2500. I LIKE it better
I am coming down from driving Diesels for several years and am simply a "big truck guy".

I have sold off almost all my trailers that require a 20k tow rating and am excited to stop paying for the expensive cost of ownership of diesels. I really like the 2500 crew Laramie and am soooooo close to pulling the trigger I can taste it! I have two dealers in SD working on this right now and cannot seem to get them below 37,9xx. The one in town is at 37,9xx and the one across the state is 38,9xx. A couple different options making the difference.

The one in town told me this morning that he would bet if that truck I am looking at is still here in two weeks they will be willing to work a little harder to make it happen.... So I guess I will have to be patent and see where it goes.

Thanks guys.

have the guys on here just want to argue with you man. I own a 2500, and after I post this I will head out to my truck to get the sticker out of the glove box and tell you the sticker and what I paid, so check your inbox as I will PM you everything.

If they are gonna budge in 2 weeks, let em sit on it. I went and looked at f-250s for the hell of it before buying my ram.

they told me with my price range I would be looking at these basic ones. So I told them how much extra for this and that. and he gave me a price. Well I walked away. The very NEXT DAY, he calls me telling me he'll give me pretty much the SLT version of ford, most of the bells and whistles, for the same basic price. So they were willing to give me like what would be a sticker of another who knows 5-8 grand worth of ish for the same price, within 24 hours.

However my local dodge dealership, was a bunch of @$$holes, and always have been (another reason my dad went from chevy to dodge years ago), and they wouldnt work with me at all on anything. In fact I had to go up there twice, walk in the show room and ask for someone.

So its all in the people there, not to mention, make sure you check out all of the incentives, I got money off for all sorts of stuff.

1500/2500/3500 I know guys that this past year got the same or better. Lots of higher end models of cars and trucks the big deals, discounts are happening. Just saw a ad on new 1lt Corvettes. $10,000 off MSRP without any negotiating. You gotta shop. The deals are out there.

I did. I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. My office IT guy has got it figured out how to make it so you cannot log into forum sites.
I made the deal last night! All said and done I was just under 37k. I'm adding Ryno lining, nerfs, and mudd flaps today and hopefully pick it up this afternoon. I'll try to post a pic or two when I get it.
I drove the Outdoorsman last night and just could Not see giving up all the creature comforts that the Laramie had to offer for 3k.

I'll be back soon with pics :0)

Here she is. Not the best snap but it was dark when I got to pick it up last night so I had them pull it in the shop under the lights so I could get a real close look at everything. They are going to do another detail on it. Wasnt quite up to par IMO. They were great to work with on the whole deal.

I got it from Dodge Town in Rapid City SD.

I think the window was 45-46k.

I paid 37,990.00 after I added the running boards, mud flaps, and rhino lining the box.

I am pretty happy with it so far. I have noticed a slight surging when I am getting on the interstate and the steering wheel is at about 11:59 when going straight down the road. I am going to stop in later this week and see what can be done about both items.

I suspect that the surging may be the TCM and FCM and all those other acronyms for computer modules still learning my driving habits???? It is ever so slight and not re produceable every time but I am going to bring it up never the less. I would guess the steering wheel being off a bit would be an easy fix as well.

My first Dodge product and so far all in all it has been a pleasurable buying experience.
