I got a coworker who just bought a 2011 Ford F150. He test drove both the ecoturd and the 5.0l. He ended up going with the 5.0L. Said he didn't feel like he was driving a truck when he drove the ecoturd.

 

good info eveyone thanks i want to try one someday but they just arent out there that much right now where i live especially owned by someone young enough to give me a run. all in due time i guess and if there is multiples of this same thread sorry when i posted it didnt show up so i posted again and didnt show up so i figured give it a day or two, server going slow or something .

 

Ford 6.2 is a little overrated imho... not really sure why they put it in the f150...
Ecoboost is a better motor... it will walk a hemi with similar body and drivetrain, and with a tune will destroy an exhaust and tune hemi...
The GM 6.2 is another motor with a ton of potential... just not quite there in stock form.
