Sorry for the problem , my 09 has 133,350 and no problems yet???[knock on wood]
I bought the max care for 1800.00 , see if you can still buy some kind of ext. warranty?
800.00 for the elec. part .. They have you over a barrel ,once in the shop .

be sure and ask for the old part(s). you may need it in the future if in fact it is not defective.

I never bought one but my dodge salesman friend said at this stage ext. warranty can be quite expensive. He told me the best time is to buy when you first purchase the vehicle and to be very cautious on third party warranties. He also said some third party warranties have a grace period and you cannot file a claim until a certain amount of time and the deductibles can be outragous. My salesman buddy and I have a mutual friend that works in service at the same dealership and he stated to me he never ran across the symptoms as the first post stated, he checked with his other co-workers and they have not either.

Too bad your not in Cali. I'd have fixed it for way cheaper.
