I wouldn't put it in the brake light due to the time it'll take for them to warm up, it won't be worth it. I'm putting in an inline switch when I get some time into my reverse lights so when that lowered rice burner behind me is tailgating in this horrendous NYC/NJ traffic I'll just flip it on .
Good catch budd, i didnt even give it a thought about the 3rd brakelight and how it would work by replacing it with a HID bulb. (i knew that, i just had a big duhhhhhh momment...lol) I actually did some research on the 921 bulb... ther is a bulb available in the 921 size that is alot higher wattage, so i`ll just install the higher wattage bulb in the 3rd brk/light instead of a HID bulb. I had also found a halogen 921, but i think that would be to hot inside the 3rd brake light housing and it might melt the lense... or worse, burn up the plug that the bulb sits in.

Hey when you get your other HID bulbs inside the cargo lights, can ya toss up some comparison pic(s)..???

Rawk on brother..!
