If you got to pick one up try LMC truck. My 1995 chevy had a real cool light under the hood, you could pull it out and had a 6 foot wire so you could move it around. LMC should have one. I came on when you open the hood also. I missed the cord on my 1998, cheap buggers.

A lot of jeeps have that style as well if you are looking for a junk yard solution.

My 2009 TRX came with it. However, my neighbor bought the exact same truck (even the color scheme, but that's a story for another day) and his is lacking the light. Go figure...

Nope. Unless they changed things after 2008 because I have the Bighorn model and the Bighorn package doesn't include the "Courtesy Light Package".
The Courtesy package has an underhood light, cupholder light and glovebox light for a price tag of $120 or something along those lines.

I installed 3ft LED strips under my hood. Spanks the measly tiny Mopar bulb you pay $40 for! These LED's are Super bright and I have extra material to make additional kits. Maybe somebody wants one? I'll be taking pics tonight to show them off...lol

I used a pressure sensitive hood pin switch so the hood triggers it when opened. yikes, say that 5x's fast..lol
