Both my 2010 hemi rams have issues with growl & whining. The dealer`s tell me to just keep driving it until it blows. WHAT..?!?!?!
Yeah, thats nice, inconveinience the customer and not just FIX THE DAM THING, and put the customer in harms way when it blows.
I`m with the OP here, my confidence in dodge/chrysler anymore has become VERY low. Quality..? What quality...!
Dodge/Chrysler better pray i dont get into a bad accident when either one of mine finally blow.
You definitely need to go to another dealer. I was told by Chrysler customer service yesterday they basically have no say as to what the dealer does, warranty or not. That the dealer is a privately owned business, they can almost tell you to go to , well you get the pic! A local service manager was rude, confrontational and told me he didn't care or want to hear what my tranny (2012) was doing! Chrysler said go to another dealer. I filed a complaint with Chrysler and the dealer has never returned a call. I'm sure if Chrysler receives enough complaints, they might chastise them but have no real power to make the dealer do anything they want. They do NOT have to repair it!! Under warranty if they DO then Chrysler pays but can not MAKE them do it!

Well I got a call from the dealer & my truck should be ready by tomorrow; a week faster than I thought. They've been good & didn't give me any grief. Warrantied everything & DEFINITELY wasn't a maintenance issue. I have all my receipts & am very diligent about staying on top of scheduled service since I have a Lifetime Warranty on my drivetrain & electric. The reason they gave was that the PINION YOKE BOLT came loose, and was a trickle down effect from there. Said it's being replaced with a different part# & beefed up. I SURE HOPE SO!!!

Tuna,
i went to a 3rd dealership this past week in hopes i could get it fixed before i leave for vacation, BUT, same story, call us when it blows. They didnt even want to road test it...!!!! This is just ***** poor service if you ask me. I really like this truck, BUT, if this is the kind of service the chrysler dealers are handing out to customers, i surely bought my very last chrysler product. I dont dare take this truck on vacation next week because i`m affraid its going to blow while on my trip. Nice huhhhh...!

Thanks chrysler, you`ve made my decision alot easier when i buy my next truck.
