Default check engine light

Hey, I'm new to this forum but I have a question. My 2011 2500 Longhorn diesel had the engine light come on. When I ran the code it came up as P24A0 Unknown code. Have you heard of that one?

TBeck,

Welcome to the forum.

The P24A0 may be the exhaust temp sensor getting a reading that is out of range or the sensor itself may be bad. Would suggest having the dealer check it out for you.

P24A0 CLOSED LOOP DPF REGENERATIION CONTROL AT LIMIT – TEMPERATURE TOO LOW

The truck is attempting to regen, and the temperature at the front temp probe isn't high as it needs it to be to properly burn out the DPF.
