Front Diff
I know there are 3rd Gen haters when it comes to comparisons...but......
Fluid specs should be identical for 3rd and 4Gen Rams as they use same trans, front&rear diffs..etc. Only one I'm not sure of is coolant if dodge changed the radiators from 08-09+ due to increased hp?

My manual just states the type of oil to use...not capacity. Mine is a 2009 as well...
Did dodge use different manuals for each 09, depending on when it was manufactured? I've noticed on this forum and others, one will state one thing out of there manual and others will state one thing...just baffles me. In my hard copy in my truck it doesn't state anything nor does the copy on my computer. This is quoted from my manual on my hard drive.
Front Axle — Four-Wheel Drive Models
GL-5 SAE 75W-90 (MS-9763) or equivalent.
Rear Axle
MOPAR Synthetic Gear Lubricant SAE 75W-140 (MS-8985). Limited-Slip Rear Axles require the addition of 118 ml (4 oz.) MOPAR Limited Slip Additive or equivalent.
