About a week ago I got the “damaged key” message. Pulled my key out and put it back in and it worked fine so I didn’t think too much of it. Well, tonight I got in to start it and it was just telling me “damaged key” over and over again. I tried looking stuff up on the spot to see if I can at least get it started and nothing worked. Please let me know if you can help me out or point me in the right direction. I’m in the military and I’m parked on the side of a tank trail on base so I really need it figured out fast!

 

Get another key? Do you have a spare?

 

I've had this same message for a couple years now so I just use the key does nobody else do this

 

My 11 Durango does it all of the time.
Heard thru the grape vine to open/close front passenger door.

Worx every time!
