Blue Tooth Audio Stream
Does anybody know why my bluetook audio stream never seems to work, and how I can fix it? If I'm lucky, it will play my songs from my Iphone, but if somebody texts me, it will start to come in very scrabbly and then becomes a loss cause from there on.

Yep, sure do. I'm not sure exacly wht was going on with it technically but I do have the fix. Chrysler had a Uconnect SW update that came out last JUne and was revised in October. The TSB was 08-036-11 rev A. However if you'd like to perform it yourself, then see the link below and my post #2. It'll help.

Ok, I'm going to give it one more shot. If you could help me, I'd really appreciate it. I tried the above update procedure, but I'm getting "please connect a usb...with update file and retry" message. I've tried two FAT 32 formatted clean USB flash drives, but it doesn't seem to want to load anything. Here's my configuration:
That's a RES radio (replaced by dealer after original one freaked on me) and a later version ( 2011?) Uconnect module. My phone is an iPhone 4, 8Gig.

ok, stop here. You have a 2011 vehicle with a 2012 Uconnect module. This is why you're getting the message. The file is for a 2011 vehicle with a 2011 module. The ending digits "AC" tells me that it's a 2012. The 2011 module had 2 different PN endings:
1) vehicles built prior to 6-1-2011 had "AG"
2) vehicles build after 6-1-2011 had "AK"
Now you're going to make me start testing this issue. I have the 4S and RHB radio but have access to an RES. I haven't had any issues with streaming audio.
Have you tried rebooting the phone. Press the power and home buttons at the same time tillthe white apple appears, then release them. The phone will now reboot.

I wiil reboot the phone and try that. Thanks.
yes, if you look at the module also, you can see the MFG date of 2011-12, which would be Dec, 2011. I'm not sure how the dealer decided to replace the old one with a 2012 unit. I'm quite sure that they probably just took it out of a Mopar kit and put it in. They obviously didn't cross reference the PN.
Let me know what happens with the reboot, ok.
