Headlamps starting to pulsate.
Its weird that it only does it when your parked...I was almost thinking maybe you it was because the fan or something was kicking in...But then I noticed it was in the cool of the morning, and the fact that it was foggy like crazy this morning. That it would not be the case. At least north of Calgary, was on my way north of Loydminister and could hardly see a thing till about 10! (on a side note haha)
I don't think it would be a voltage regulator, or even anything with the alternator or charging system. You would have seen it other places too not just on the headlights. Those things are something that it would do all the time, not just parked. But you probably already knew that!
Its weird that it does that after you arrive, does the truck still idle alright? That you can see? It could be that after the engine is nice and warm it does not want to idle properly...Just throwing that out there...

I just replaced both headlight bulbs with new ones, wow, what a pain to replace! Started truck up and checked for pulsating lights, everything seems fine, as the engine idles down then you could barely make of the pulsating, (in the daytime). At night it is pretty obvious, I showed another co-worker, and he explained that it seems like the element in the bulb is bouncing around from vibration, creating like a pulsating effect.
Also the fog lamps do the same, the side markers lamps in the headlight assembly do not do the pulsating, neither does the interior or rear tail lamps, just the headlamps and fog lamps only. When you turn off the vehicle, there is no pulsating of the headlamps/fog lamps. I had the dealership look at it, I explained to him I notice the issue at night, when sitting in the driver's seat and the headlamps illuminating against a wall, the technician took the unit for a drive in the daylight, checked voltages on the Star Scan, no issue or fault codes found, headlamps are working fine, well no kidding! Not sure what to do, a little frustrated.

My Headlamp issue is still there, plus now I have a driver's side headlamp works when it feels like it. This is how it all started, I brought it to the dealership close to my work last Monday, they said wow, that is odd, it is more of a flicker than a pulsating, they added more grounds, to see if it helped the issue. Nothing, I went back on Tuesday the next day for my left headlamp was out, they replied oh it's going to cost you so much, fair enough, as soon they started the truck and moved it forward, the left hand bulb came back on. So now I got a vehicle with the left headlamp will work when it wants too, I asked the service writer about the issue, I was ignored for a good hour or so, then when he noticed I was still there waiting for his response he told me arrogantly that the work order is open but no email from the Engineers yet, So I replied, thank you, and left, so I replaced the left hand bulb myself and no difference. I am still waiting on response from somebody from Chrysler, I have emailed DodgeCACares back to see if they heard anything, but I'm just left hanging. No response from anyone from Chrysler, that's pretty bad, I think. I thought they actually care about their customers, but they are very similar to Ford, I had quite a few Fords in the past. Oh well, you pay so much for a new vehicle, and then no help. Pretty sad, I don't know what else to do.
The headlamps are connected to the TIPM directly by a 3 wire harness. High Beam Voltage, Low beam Voltage and a shared Return. You may have a loose connector at either end especially since had your hand in there switching the bulbs out (for the left bulb going out). I would disconnect at both ends and reconnect again. The pulsating is probably caused by the TIPM voltage getting hammered by a bad voltage regulator or a capacitor on the TIPM circuit board.
When the left goes out, do both low and high beams go away?

Loose tolerance in the voltage regulator, use to plague Chrysler back in the day is my guess or loose connection somewhere. Lose connections need to be checked asap, neighbors Surburban burned to the ground from a lose connection on the lights so get that looked at ASAP.
Yes, I finally received a word from Katie at DodgeCAcares, and they are waiting for an update to come in. I'm a Tech myself, and I do believe the culprit is the TIPM, but the engineers are still looking into it at the moment. After the torque convertor was replaced for the noise issue, then the headlamp issue's started. I found a couple of grounds disconnected and miss placed, I hooked them back up where they are suppose to be, still no difference, then I let the dealer see what else they did, but I do believe there is a bad diode or capacitor causing these issues in the TIPM, but we'll see what happens, I thought I was forgotten about.
