Your location says oregon, are you close to the ocean....salt air...?
Also, if you`re running the heater on "REC", your cab is full of moisture...! That will cause rust.
Turn the heater mode to "fresh air", dry out the inside of the cab. Never use the "REC" unless its super hot outside.

Going thru similiar rust problems with all of my seats center console and numerous nuts and bolts. I just had rear window leak sealed which caused mildew smell inside. Truck is still under warranty however dealership is being very hesistant to fix anything. I go to dealership tonight to have them take pictures to send to chrysler to get stuff covered. Now I gotta look under dash. What a nightmare this is.

I contacted chrysler customer service and they opened a claim case and are now working with the dealership to try and resolve the issue. I will keep you updated. Sounds like I should have an answer by Friday but I am not holding my breath.

Did you check to make sure the third brake light is sealed and not leaking?

Ok. Here are the photos. They are in a photo bucket library, hopefully it works. There is a lot more. photos are under neath at drive shaft, etc. Under drivers and passenger dash, rear seat underneath. Under seat it had been fixed. rust still there. Is it normal under seay at rear to have cut outs like in photo where my hand is. Two parts in hand fell down from drivers dash, where do they go? If you want more let me know.

Use the 1283 beta photobucket. That works. What a pain. I not even 18,000 on truck
