I found some teflon spray lube at my local auto parts store. It gets rid of the squeek but I have had to apply it twice on my 2010 so far. I guess it is something to include in the list of checks during an oil change.

I have had this problem intermittently since I purchased the truck. It's only the driver door and it's only when the roller passes the last rib. I have had good results using all the techniques in this thread but not now. I can't stand noises...
Anyone had luck changing the roller?

I had this problem too. Not too many companies still use this design anymore. I used WD-40 and it seemed to work. The cause was paint peeling and rusting. You should never use a painted metal on a movable part. They should grease from factory.

I used a penetrating oil to lube the inside part of the roller and then coated the outside with white lithium grease. The squeak is gone and the door closes easier, before I really had to slam it to get it to close.

After using a ton of white lithium grease i got the squeak to go away. But two weeks later, it's back again. What a poor design on these hinges. This is my 8th vehicle and 3rd Dodge Ram. I have never had issues with squeaking like i have on this truck.

it seems to be a two stage process. copious amounts of penetrating oil (WD-40) in the roller then follow up with white lithium grease. works for about 6-12 months.
