Remote start... Not working
All these have been met...
- shift lever in PARK
- doors closed
- hood closed
- HAZARD switch off
- BRAKE switch inactive (brake pedal not pressed)
- ignition key removed from ignition switch
- battery at an acceptable charge level
- Remote Keyless Entry PANIC button not pressed
- fuel meets minimum requirement.
It is a Factory remote start.
I think there is a bigger problem here there Remote start...
Put my truck into park today and
- Service Trailer brake light came on
- ESP 4WD came on
- the Traction control light turned on
It's going in on Friday to dealer

For my truck it ended up being just the brake switch by the brake pedal. A $40 part that just clips into place, I couldn't believe that small part affected so many things
I was having issues with my remote start not working. Tried all of the suggestions I found, nothing worked. I eventually took the battery out of the remote and left it out overnight. The remote start has worked perfect after that.
