gas pedal vibration
hello everyone just thought id throw this out there and see if anyone has experenced this. it started yesterday after work outside temp is -20 truck was plugged in, started it up and warmed up like normal approx 5-7 min then when i starated out for home i could feel a vibration coming through the gas pedal and floor its almost like a hum without the noise. anyway it went away once it was up to operating temp.
today its -22 and did the same thing but this time it didn't go away it seems to be from 1000-2000 whens its cold and about 1700 once its warm.
anyone else experence this i have a 2012 crew 4x4 with a hemi and 3.92 rear

I have same truck and I get intermittent gas pedal vibration while driving. It's annoying but the dealer won't acknowledge a problem. Doesn't make sense to me because it's drive-by-wire, unless something is rubbing against the wire or firewall (I can't feel it on floor, brake pedal, anywhere else, only through gas pedal).
It is a torsional vibration coming from the HEMI engine at certain rpm`s, some have it bad, some dont. Learn to live with it, its not going to go away. If you cant live with it, buy a different brand of vehicle. This is what happens when you start lightening up vehicles chassis`s and body`s, nothing ther to absorb anything anymore.
The only fix is bolting a bunch of large "vibration absorbing ballasts" to the engine block in various places, this is the only way to soak up the torsional vib`s before it gets transmitted to the chassis and cab. I have built a few ballast`s for my own hemi truck and it solved the problem entirely.

I just live with it, and mine is brand new. I think we have gotten so picky about cars today. My chevy had its quirks too. I just accepted it.
