I'm sure you've got 20+ years of engine building to back up your thoughts, so lets hear them
The below is my HEMI with a KNOCKING sound, that happens on COLD STARTUP only, then goes away after the truck got warm. Eventually, after 2-3 months, it started to happen all the time. But initally, it was cold startup only.

Not a knock. Sounds like your manifold bolts are broken

LOL. Wrong. It is a knock. Search YouTube for hemi manifold bolts broken. You'll see it produces a tick, similar to valve noise.

As for my noise, the engine was taken apart and they found a piston was 3,000 of an inch too small for the bore.

That is what mine sounded like when the manifold bolts broke, don't need a youtube

.003? How does that happen? And out of curiosity, did they replace the whole engine or bore it .010?

IM with OJ.thats what the manifold sound like when the bolts break....one piston out? sounds like a BS story to me, you need a new engine, thats obviously a lemon.............

IF you ever ran a motor , like a detroit, with a spun bearing, then youd know what a knock is, your motor also sounds like one thats been bored once too many times.

Mines not and its not broken bolts. Once in runs a minute or so it gets quiet. You can stand next to it and hear things. My vette and Marquis are the same way. The 6.2 in the vette being to nosiest of the 3.

^^^ You'll likely get a better response with a separate thread regarding the Bully Dog Tuner.

Bully Dog has been big in diesel tuners. I'd pass on a gas engine if they just debut it. Super Chips or a Diablo.
