Ordered the DB-ALL unit, should be here mon. Can't beat the price and simple install.

How does it work with the hvac? Didn't know the stock unit does that, but that'd be great if the DB-ALL does.

 

I also ordered the dball unit. I will try and install next weekend. For the price and ease of install you really cant beat it. I will chime back with comments. I wish I would have know about this product sooner!

Too easy!! For $80, and uses the factory key fob, why wouldn't anybody do this? Works fantastic and installation was nothing. Spent more time zip tying the wires nicely than anything else. From all that I had read previously on this unit, the only issues were bad programming. I highly recommend the vendor I got mine from on eBay, just make sure you message/email them so they can program it specifically to your vehicle and preferences.

Been a while, But.. Install was easy. Got the programmer and all. Only issue was I had to update some IE cookies or something for the programmer. Programmed and installed within about an hour. The one issue that I had was that I have a aftermarket dealer installed karr alarm. I would do the 3X lock on the fob and it would do nothing, well try to start and not start. After messing for hours I figured out that I had to do the 3X lock button then the 1X unlock button which would disable my ignition kill switch. A headache and some major brainstorming figured it out. I recommend this mod to people that dont have the remote start on their trucks and want to keep the factory fob unit.
