Default 2013 uconnect 3.0 radio stays on

I just bought a 2013 dodge ram 1500 slt and it has the uconnect 3.0 radio in it. I love the truck and got a great deal on it but when i turn the truck off the radio stays on for like another 45 seconds. I have gone though the EVIC and changed it to 0 seconds but after the first time i turn the truck off it goes back to the 45 seconds option. I usually listen to podcast on my ipod which is connected to the radio and it sucks when you get back into the truck and it is almost a minute past where i left off at. Is there a way to get the radio to shut off as the driver door opens or is it only the 0 seconds option. Now what I do is just turn off the radio when i get out of the truck if i remember too. Any help would be great.

I have a 2013 with the Uconnect 3.0 (RA1)

My radio stays on until the selected time interval expires OR I open the door....

Opening the door should shut off the radio.....

It does not turn off whe i open the door. On the EVIC i go to key-off delay and set it at 0 seconds and it turns off when i turn off the key but once i turn the truck back on it defaults back to 45 seconds. I would love to get it to turn off when i open the door. I may just take it back to the dealership and have them look at it. I have only had it for a week.

There is a service bulletin to reprogram the 2013 radios - don't know the bulletin #.

My truck did the exact same thing .... I have the same radio .... I ended up getting my radio replaced for the XM freezing and that also fixed the delay issue

Stevelobaugh-did it fix the radio to where you opened the door the radio turned off. I went to the dealership and told them about it but they are a ford dealership not that it matters but he wrote down what was wrong and said he would look into it and get back to me. Hopefully he does.

Yes with the new radio, the delay works 100% as it should . My dealer told me it wouldn't fix the delay and that they thought it was the ECM ...... Which they were wrong lol
