What they use where you live pales in comparison to here. I'm using our Senator to go after the MD SHA... Salt is THE reason i'm buying a new truck. In Garrett County, MD winter 2012/2013 we received 205 inches of snow (not a big deal here) - 33 during Hurricane Sandy. The SHA used 80 tons of salt per lane mile. The U.P. of Michigan received 305+ inches in many places... they used 24 tons per lane mile. They used 1/3 the salt for 50% more snow. Rant over.

FWIW - My wheels (on my 2005 Ram) look like new (at least the chrome clad plastic part). But my fenders are rusted thru, my rear bumper is about to rust through and there's a bubble on my cab corner the size of a silver dollar (for those of you who remember those).

These wheels will outlast the truck.
