Where,s the dipstick?

Default Where,s the dipstick?

I can,t believe im asking this question. I cannot find the dipstick for my 8spd in the 2013 . Found the oil stick ,where am i not looking ?

Huh, wonder if these are capped off like the LX/LY automatic transmissions as well. The level of the fluid is checked with the starscan based on temperature. Maybe the 8 speed is the same scenario. Just speculation though.

Yes. Fill plug, scan tool.

Looked again in the owners and all i seen i believe the stick for the 6 spd . Im just as confused as ever!!!!

I was the same way with my 2013, I searched, and searched for my power steering fluid dipstick, till I found out it was electric. I would have never guess that. Good luck Gunny.

8 spd is a sealed unit. No stick.

Is there a way a mere mortal can check trans? Or does it have to be done by a dealer?
