4 years with the mufflex kit and no problems, as long as you install it right. I'd buy it again, easy do it yourself swap out but would do the 18" next time. 14" is a bit too loud imo.

And most local shops in our area do not even carry stainless steel exhaust piping. By the time you buy the muffler, extra stainless extensions and labor, what is the cost difference really...

 

muffler delete here... couldnt be happier, had a 2010 w/ no resonators and the 18" magnaflow and a 2012 w/ resonators and a 14" magnaflow.. Those two were pretty close in sound....

Know of 3 other guys that wont to the muffler delete after i got mine. Very happy, yes its loud but no complaints from anyone on our 2 hour trips twice a weekend. And i think it drones less than w/ a muffler...

 

Went and installed a magnaflow "Y" adapter, installed the remaining factory exhaust, and welded in three feet of exhaust for the delete. It has a good sound to it but am not keen on how quiet it is. Believe I will delete the resonators next.

 

what was your mpg with the muffler and without?? i'm leaning towards the muffler delete myself on my 13. i had a 09 and tried magnaflow, super 40, super 44 couldn't make it sound like i wanted it to.

I took my 13 ram down to the muffler shop told them I wanted a 3chamber stainless muffler..
The idiots installed a 1 chamber garbage muffler, the drone was horrible!!!
My 8yr old couldn't stand it.. It lasted about a week before I raised enough hell with the owner of the shop ...
I payed the extra for a magna flow .. I believe it's the 14" stainless a little bit of drone but very doable on trips.

it went on with a few hundred miles on the truck..... i constantly get 13-14 around town and 18-19 on hwy @70mph


no video... but everyone always says how sick it sounds.... got 10k on it and am quite used to it now.

 

wow i was expecting the city mpg to get worse. i do way more city driving than highway so i'm not worried.
