I am new to the forum. My name is David. I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 1500. I hate the headlights in this truck for night driving. I want to put a morimoto HID kit in. Im not sure if I can run the stock headlight housing with the HID. Can someone give me some info. Thanks

Welcome to Dodge Forum!

By "compatable" are you referring to heat issues? The manufacturer of the HID kit should be able to tell you that info. In my experiences, HID works well in hosuings that were designed for it. Add-on kits won't produce the proper beam "propagation" in the headlight assemblies designed for halogen bulbs.
