Sorry I can't answer your question, but can you tell me how miles are on your 09? Thanks.

You will need a ball joint press kit. You can do just the ball joint if its the lower. I'm not sure about the upper. Upper its usually a whole arm swap.

When I talked to the dealer a while ago they did not list aftermarket ball joints for the 09s and up yet. The Tech told me the part number for the lower control arm was the same as the 2002 through 2008 so the ball joint would be the same as well.
I will only buy Moog.

Moog K7465 for the Lower 2WD
Moog K7467 for the Lower 4WD Crew Cab

These are the part number also listed on amazon for 2009 now.

Rkfguard -

I also have an '09 Crew an fit is in the shop now for the driver's side lower ball joint - my guy says i'd need to do the whole control arm because you can't get just the ball joint. The OEM price was $600+ and the aftermarket about half that for the control arm.

It seems that the lower ball joint has gone dry - and there's no way to grease it.

Haven't decided yet what if anything i'll do.

Are you sure you need a new ball joint or are you talking about a tie rod end? I know these truck are notorious for tearing up tie rods but never heard of ball joints yet. Just asking because I have an 09 with 92000 on it and I havent touched the front end other than to change shocks.
