Bend over, they want $146 MSRP for it (that was in Feb 2014). Thankfully I have a source for discounted OEM parts. Even so, if I had to do it again I'd probably check RockAuto or some other source for a better deal.

ETA: The Mopar part is on Amazon for $112.

Rob
Thanks for that.

So I bought a new blower assy. VDO PM 9313 for $155.00 all in at Parts Source here in Ontario.

Looks easy enough to replace....3 screws and one simple harness plug.

The current blower hasn't outright failed yet, but I'd rather replace now before it does fail sometime in January or February.

Literally a 10 minute job.

I didn't have to remove anything for access. Simply the 3 screws, the harness plug and out it fell.

Noise is now gone.

Out of curiosity - are you still on your original blower motor resistor? Mine rusted out a year or 2 ago.

Passenger footwell high and to the right. Mine was rusted out and I lost a couple blower speeds.

Why the hell would it rust out in that spot? Seems like a nice, safe and cozy place.

It sits inside a vent cavity so there is a lot of condensation in there.

winter snow and salt stuck to shoes or boots can easily bring in moisture to that area.
