Mopar Catback w/ Drone Issue

As an aside, if one doesn't like to use the ERS (manual shift) mode to stay out of MDS, initiating the Tow/Haul Mode will do the same thing.

Yes that works also, but with tow mode you lose 6th gear, and mine stills tows fine in 6th on level ground or downhill, and 6th will save you a little gas over 5th. That's why I like the manual mode

It's fine. I got a tuner (with hemifever tuning) so now I can disable MDS, increase my throttle response, tune for any octane, increase my top speed limiter, change my idle RPM, change my rev limiter, adjust my part throttle shift points, adjust cooling fan temperatures, adjust timing at WOT if needed, adjust for tire size, read and clear trouble codes, disable traction control, and a few other things that I haven't looked into yet.
Problem Solved.

Well my biggest cause of drone was MDS after I had a Flowmaster 40 installed. I can cruise at 75 at 2k RPM and not be bothered by the exhaust note, but as soon as I'm running 50 and on 4 cylinders, it's game over for me. Before my tuner days, I would just manual shift to 6th and eliminate it all together, until I turned my engine off. Besides, now I can take my truck to 140. I do not recommend it, but I can do it.

Just because the tuner will let you set top speed much higher, don't believe that just that tuner will let that 5000 lb truck reach 140, and with a 120 mph speedo, you'll never know just how much above 120 you are going.....and who really cares

False. My truck also has a digital readout. I have made it to 140 before as well.
