2013 ram with only 19,000 Kms, radio worked , shut truck off , restarted truck and radio won't come back on. Also drivers side map light works when it wants to and to top it all off , water under the rear seat.

 

Check the fuse for the radio, as far as the map light remove the lens and make sure it is pushed in all the way. Water under the seat, check the rubber grommets under the truck or ask the kids what they did. Good luck.

 

Should still be under warranty, no?

 

third brake light seal leak can cause water to get in the back, it's a known problem.

 

Yeah it's still under warranty. I'm going to call tomorrow. Just wondering if any one else had this problem.

 

Dealer looked at it, guess I'm getting a new radio. But I won't have one until next week.

 

Got my new radio, looks and works good, 15 minutes later it died. The dealer ordered a new one again.

 

Sounds like an electrical gremlin, possible short somewhere in the wiring harness

 

Got another new radio , it works great so far. Had a new map light and new 3rd brake light installed too. But now there is a loud click noise in the column when you shift out of park which they want me to go back to get looked at. Now , yesterday the four wheel drive wouldn't kick in when I was backing up. You could hear 4wd snap out every time I put power on it. This truck just rolled over 22,000 Kms and never been off road and hardly been in 4wd.
