Hi Brandon,

The part you are referring to for a 2010 Ram 1500 with a 5.7L engine is the Ram 545 RFE shift solenoid. The part number for that is: 52119435AF.

do u have a tuner on it and have u adj shift points? i had a 2011ram with same problem i took it to the dealer and they said it was the shift soloniods so i changed them my self...did not fix it so took it back and it ended up being the tcm bad... i had change a bunch of transmission shift points earlier that day and after the 3rd start up it went into 4th gear limp mode.. so dont be so sure its the soloniods...im thinking the tuner locked up the pcm...i had the diablo trinity 1000...

i would take it to the dealership and have them fix it...u might get lucky and its the soloniod or it will be the tcm...the soloniods are about 320.00 dollars and tcm cost me 670.00 total parts and labor... i changed the soloniod my self and it wasnt the problem so i just gave away 320.00 and ended up taking it to dealership anyway...they diagnosted tcm and that fixed it...
