I'm not sure who you've been talking to but whoever it is is dead wrong, don't take car advice from that person again.
The suspension will never come apart because you put a lift in it unless it was done wrong. If anything with a lift it will be less likely to come apart at full extension because the springs are morea loaded.
If you use your stock shocks your truck will ride the exact same as it did before the lift since no parts were changed, just blocks were added.
I will give you a piece of good advice which may already be obvious. Get an alignment.

You might be correct but how would it ride the same if the Shocks have no extension left in them the wheel drop would be decreased and the stretch of the shocks would increase due to the compression increase of the coils. I have seen shocks get pulled in half plenty of times by lifts over extending the shocks. I understand my shocks were to long causing the uca to hit the coil bucket now. Do you know if the 2500 factory shocks would give it a better ride and not allow the uca to hit the coil tower

It will ride the same because you only did a 1.5" lift, that's a very small change. Figure your shock probably has a range of more than 12", so worst case scenario you've lost a whopping 1.5" of travel from your shocks, nothing to worry about. But if you are worried, head to your local auto parts store and ask them if they have some Ranchos or something that have a little more travel in them.
You could also easily check if you have a good enough range by simply jacking the truck up on the frame and watching how much travel you have before the wheel leaves the ground.
I've seen maybe one shock break in my life, and I've been a mechanic for 18 years.
I do not know if 2500 stocks will fit.

My ride is exactly the same with my 2.5" front kit, maybe even a touch better after adding the Mevotech UCA's.

Well here is the update. Installed the factory shocks and uca are no longer hitting. The ride is just extremely bouncy when hitting bumps. Does anyone know the fix to this?

If the ride is bouncy it's a shock problem. I'd head to a auto parts store and buy a heavier duty pair of shocks.

Better shocks. Honestly I believe you are in over your head. Your best bet is to go back to stock and be happy.

So replaced my shocks today made the ride a little better but I realized the coil spacer on either side was about a inch to 3/4 inch away from touching the top of the coil bucket. I called daystar and all they had to say was maybe lube the spacer up before install and it should eventually seat all the way.

And I'm not in over my head I've been working as a mechanic for years now and a little coil spacer install is nothing. Just don't understand how others are doing it but I believe I figured out the issue
