Windows rolling down by themselves
My 2011 ram 2500 has recently started unlocking by it self when I get close to it with the fob, and the windows are going down by themselves at times. It started after it took me a few times to get the oil change counter to reset. How to I turn this option off.

Looks like the unlock button is malfunctioning on your FOB.
Symptom/Vehicle Issue:
Windows Drop Without Input To Lower, Windows Open, Remote Open Window Feature
Discussion:
Some recent complaints reported, windows are down when coming out to the vehicle. Vehicles
equipped with door modules have a Remote Open Feature to allow the owner to remotely lower the
windows by a Remote Keyless function. This feature allows the owner to use the remote keyless
transmitter to perform this function with entering the vehicle.
The feature control is as follows:
1. Press and release the UNLOCK button on the transmitter.
2. Within five seconds, press and hold the UNLOCK
button until the windows lower to the desired level or
lowered completely.

I had similar issue with my '09 ram. The problem was with the key fobik. The round contact piece that is glued on to the rubber and makes contact with the circuit board had come loose. Open up your fobik and take a good look at it. I ended up fixing it by gluing it back on using superglue gel.

Perdro Dog thanks, Ill check it. I also went to the dealer and asked the service person about it, they said it was a fluk in the 2011's that was not suppose to happen and for some it has. Bring back the fob to get it replaced. I haven't done that yet so I don't know the cost.
But I'll check the contacts. Thanks

I had the same issue. Windows and door locks also. The problem was just what Pedro Dog said. The round piece on the rubber had came off. I ordered a new fob from Amazon for $16. I took the circuit board from my old one and placed it in the fob of the new one. And because it has a new rubber piece, it now works perfect.

Here is what I ordered from Amazon:
But here's the deal. I didn't need the circuit board from the key fob. I only needed the rubber part with the buttons and the case. really just the rubber part because that was the bad part of the fob. I just exchanged them out and it's been working fine.
I had reprogramed it to work with my truck but then realized that the key part still had to be cut. I didn't want to pay so I just exchanged the parts.
