Default Anyone using a tuner ?

Anyone using a tuner ? if so, what brand and model ? I have been thinking about getting one but not sure which one to get. It'd be nice to unlock a little more performance out of my 5.7.

Depends on what year your truck is as choices are quite limited on 4th gens, but I really enjoyed using A Superchips tuner on my 3rd gen.

My truck is a 2014 ram 1500 reg cab short bed with a 6 spd auto. It is 100% stock. I was looking at a Diablo Intune. Not sure if I want to drop a bunch of cash on one.

I looked at the Diablo tuners also, but I'm waiting to see if Superchips will release something for 2015+.

I believe they have a flashpaq for 2014's.

I ordered a Superchips Flashpaq from jet.com. Got a great price, $316.68 shipped. I will post results when I can.

I have a Diablo tuner on my 16. You must also get a new unlocked ECU. The 15 and 16 and 17 models need both the tuner and ECU. Runs about 1k with a custom tune from Hemifever. A tuner will provide the best results of any "bolt on". Coupled with a CAI and better flowing exhaust and a larger throttle body the difference in performance is very impressive.

You can find factory refurb Superchips 3865 (I think that's the right number for a Gen 4 Ram) for $189. Thinking of picking one up.....anyone have any experience with a refurb?
