Default 2009 Dodge Ram Hemi

have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Recently I had it beep, lightondashc ome on and then it bogged down and wouldnt run. I pulled over to the side of the roadd and about 15 minutes later it anfiefr n or about 2 miles then the same thing occurred. I had it towed to Dodge dealership where they replaced the oil sensor. The truck ran fine for about two weeks then the same thing occurred. Both tiimes I was towing my bass boat. The first time I had only driven abot 6 miles and the second time about 45 miles. I took it back to the dealership and was advised there were no codes showing and it "must be something deep in the engine" Has anyone had such a problem and if so what did you find out Thanks

Did the dealership check for codes prior to replacing the oil pressure sending unit? If so, did they document what code or codes were present?

If no codes, I'd almost suspect an issue with an old/weak battery. Maybe the added load on the electrical system from the trailer lights and, if equipped, trailer brakes, bogged the battery down enough that the ECM dropped below the minimum voltage for reliable operation (brown out) and stalled the engine. After sitting for 15 minutes or so the battery gained enough surface charge to seem fine again. It's kind of a stretch but we don't have a lot of information to go off of.
