Getting 56 with flashing trailer and exclamation !. lights dont work, but recognize's the plug. also, red "NO" trailer warning and read out that says Check Trailer brake wiring. any ideals?

 

What year is your truck? What kind of trailer? Does your trailer have electric brakes?

 

Have you checked the trailer brake wiring and confirmed that it is wired correctly? Are you using a 4-wire connector or a 7-wire plug? Are there any adapters in use?

Be sure to check your grounds; don't rely on the ball to ground the trailer.

 

I have a 2014 1500 with factory towing...

last May I got a similar trailer error, when not even towing... over the course of a week, the errors migrated to telling my ABS was bad and gave me no cruise control... this happened 4-5 times.

I took to a friendly mechanic who hooked up his computer and told me there were 4 codes stored that indicated an ABS sensor problem, but after looking at all 4 wheels could find nothing. That was 3 months ago and no errors any more after clearing the code...
