Default Clean Park Assist Sensor Issue - 2010 Ram

I have read a lot of threads regarding this issue but I am unable to resolve this issue with my truck and its driving me crazy. The truck was purchased used and I have had the issue since purchased. here are a few things that I have done
  • replaced all sensors
  • put in reverse and listened for clicking
  • cleaned all new sensors
  • checked park assist fuse

after all of this I still have this issue. Does anyone have any other ideas as I would really like to have this option working

What is the actual issue? Does it simply not work?

Thanks for taking the time to respond. The issue is that I continue to get the message "clean park assist sensor" evem after replacing all sensors and the light on the dash for park assist off stays on.

I checked to see if I can turn the system on using the set up screen on the user interface but it won't allow me to turn it on likely due to the "clean sensor" issue.

Thanks. I did see this post but unfortunately it did not help me resolve this issue that I am having. I checked the harness before or splits to the individual sensors and there does not appear to be a continuity issue there. I am wondering if there is possibly a module that may be faulty...just guessing. I am at my wits end

I have a 2011 and it shows "service park assist system", pretty much same thing you are getting.... in addition to that i am also getting "service trailer brake system".... the vehicle wont even turn on. and i can't turn the park assist system off via the dash menu. so it's at the dealer now, hopefully i will hear something tomorrow. will post results here and on the thread i had started. At least you are able to continue to drive your vehicle.

was told today, for my issues, it is the "totally intergrated module". Needs replacing and they have to order it. We'll see what happens.

For a park assist message? Umm.....no. If they're wrong DON'T pay for that. Never seen that before.

Daddy............squirrels love to get back there in that area and chow down on wires. I know the EVAP hoses on top of the gas tank are tasty as well.

So I was told by a mechanic that the dealer qpjld have to look at it if it is a faulty parl assist module because it would likely need to be programmed....seems unusual for merely a park assist module that is only there to sense distance feedback from the sensors...any thoughts?

picked up the truck today and the receipt shows "replaced totally integrated power module and reconfigured vehicle". But again, i had two error messages on dash with no check engine light or any other warning lights ON and no codes to speak of, along with a no start. It would appear this repair would have been pricey if we did not have the lifetime warranty and only paid $100.

Daddy - good luck to you, hope you get it fixed without too much out of pocket cost
