Default towing MDS

traded my 2012 ram outdoorsman for a 2017 Laramie longhorn. I didn't realize MDS was in the settings on the control panel much different than the 2012. My question is, should i turn off the MDS on the control panel while towing our trailer?

cheers

Isn't it disabled by default in tow/haul mode?

ECO has come on (not always) when going down a hill, or coasting in tow haul mode.

According to the manual ECO means you are driving in an econmical manner and is use to signify this .
MDS while maybe working at the same time as eco is not the same as the eco indicater.
Also if you dont want to reset it everytime you can use the gear select to disable MDS after you shut the truck down it will go back to default mds mode.
