Default 2011 ram 1500 sport no bus

I have a 2011 ram 1500 sport, went hunting today and left the windows cracked about 3 inches, rain storm rolls through, few hours later I come out of the woods and fire it up to a no bus on the cluster, all warning lights on, no gauges work, wipers stay on, front windows won't move, rear windows do move, no radio etc. Only thing that got wet was my driver window switch, and it was pretty wet. What should I do, checked every fuse already

This has happened before with window tinters using too much water when applying the front door films. Take the door skin off (plenty of youtube out there) and unplug all of the connectors to the switch and door modules. Dry them out with a hair blow dryer. Apply some kind of electronics contact cleaner (i used to buy it a radio shack). When everything is dry and cleaned, put it back together. You should be golden.

Yea I figured it out earlier, there's a module below the window switches that has 5 plugs, it was 100% full of water, pulled it apart cleaned it, sealed it, put back together and all is well. No more leaving my windows down

I left my windows down and of course it rained. cleaning the module and connectors fixed the bus problem but front windows won't function as well as the mirror controls and window and door lock switch. the rear windows are fine.

Hi. My name is Juan. I have a similar problem. It’s been running fine. With dry weather conditions. I had to accelerate going to an overpass slowed down to go in to a parking lot of a restaurant and I kind of accelerated one more time and hit my break hard to stop for a sudden stop and that’s when all warning lights came on and wipers on no hazards no a/c all that stuff. What should I do.

Does it only happen when you are running the windshield wipers????

Problem is, there are so many things that can cause the no bus..... essentially, what it means is, the cluster is losing communication with the rest of the truck. All the various modules communicate on what amounts to a 'computer network' in your truck. One sensor failing can disrupt that network.... and there are a LOT of sensors......

Exclamation No Bus errors

Regarding the No Bus errors: I had the same problem with my 2012 Ram Laramie. My mechanic found the sunroof drain tube to be plugged up which ran down into the left driver's side kick panel area and caused the problem described elsewhere. In addition to the symptoms posted previously, my first clue was water dripping from the hand grab post on the driver's door. They cleaned the connections in the kick panel and covered them in dialectic grease. I was hopeful this cured the problem, which it did as far as the "no Bus" problem. However, after a large rainstorm yesterday, it appears the seal on my sunroof is in need of replacement as the water was dripping from the hand grab post again and the interior roof liner was damp. So that will be my next project. Hope this helps others to diagnose their "No Bus" problems.
