Hey guys I’m having an awful time with this Ram I stripped and axle and stub shaft I replaced both parts and new seal from dealer the 4wd work perfect that night . Next day it’s all gone to crap srv light is on and when I try to put it in 4 wd the 4wd light just keeps flashing .. I replaced the motor that engages the front diff as I was getting a code for front axle disconnect c147b along with circuit low c1464 . The system worked fine for about and hour and as I was driving along the road in two wheel drive as normal the srv 4 wd light came on again . 4 wd will sometimes work now it’s hit or miss but I’m baffled now as to why it’s like this ... those are the only two codes I am currently getting
Joey, did you ever figure out what was wrong. I have the same error codes and I already replaced the actuator. I've seen some videos saying it's a short. Thanks
did any of you guys figure it out? Did you find the short?
Thanks,
Bart
Sorry, no still haven't. Going to keep trying to figure it out, and I'll provide an update once I do. It ticks me off when people come on boards looking for help but never report back.
Mine did the same thing, had to replace the Forward Control Module also, in addition to the shift actuator on the t-case. The dealer has to program the new FCM, takes about an hour.

They CHARGE you an hour, but, it probably only takes about ten minutes.
