Spark Plug Life?
I don't think so. The rare-earth guys have caused to many problems in engines that weren't designed for them.
idk what they changed, but the 2017 calls for 100k change on the spark plugs which makes me think that it takes rare earth (platinum or iridium) plugs.
my 2013 challenger still gets coppers, i buy the <$2 a piece copper plugs for it and change em every 30k

my 2009 crewcab rambox with 379,200 miles i run platinum plugs change at 100,000 ... doing this sine 45,000 ... I believe there NGK
i would not run one of the exotics plugs , spitfire or Ir radium , they have been known to throw a code

Single, dual, or quad electrode?
I installed Iridium plugs in my former 2011 Durango with the Hemi and never had any issues. I towed a 30' travel trailer with it and even under load there were no issues. I don't recall if I used NGK or Denso Iridium plugs. My current 2014 Ram has single tip platinum plugs in it and they are still in good shape and my truck runs and tows fine so I didn't bother switching them out for Iridiums yet.
