Default Front wheel bearings

Just turned 72000 on my 09 4x4 CC. Was driving down the interstate and heard a real loud growl for maybe a 1/4 mile. Almost sounded like something rubbing a tire up front....then it was gone...I think it could have been the road, but changing lanes did nothing.
It got me to listen more to the drive train of the truck now. I think I hear a very slight growl up front sometimes. Could be tires, but it's constant and speed dependent. It's so quiet it's hard to tell. My truck goes in for service next Sat. If I find I have a wheel bearing going out, what are good ones to by. I know everyone will say Mopar and that is not a problem, but am wondering about some non OE that are just as good. Someone makes them for Mopar. Since it's not under my Lifetime Power train warranty, I guess I'll be doing it myself if i need to replace them.
Thanks for any info.

Bearings aren't covered by the powertrain warranty??? That seems kinda odd.....

Moog, or Timkin, if you do it yourself. I would jack up the front of the truck, and spin the front tires by hand, see if anything feels odd.

I don't think the wheel bearings are. I'll ask during the service next weekend. I take it to the dealer for services because it's cheap and they do point inspections every time. Keeps up the Lifetime..

The unit bearings are not. I replaced both of them on my 09, one at around 75K and the other at around 100K. RockAuto is your best bet for pricing, I used SKF. The 09 has 173K on it now and they are still fine
