Default Towing Question ram long horn

Looking to buy a RV travel trailer 24 ft it weighs (see below) I have a 2016 Ram long horn 6 cylinder V with a 3.21 ratio with the towing package can I tow this trailer with this ram. I used to have a 23 ft bayliner and the towing was no issue any help is appreciated.Dry/Unloaded Weight5416 lbsGross Vehicle Weight7753 lbs

Thanks the chart you send me is for a Ram 2500 do you have one for a 2016 Ram 1500 6 cylinder

No. You can't. Your max towing weight is 4980 pounds. That trailer, even empty, exceeds your tow rating. If you try and pull it, and have an accident, your insurance company will have grounds to refuse to coverage. Not to mention legal liability for towing overweight...... You need less trailer, or more truck.

I simple change in the link from "2500" to "1500" will get you the table for the 1500.

Thanks great info one last question and sorry for the dumb question someone told me to look on the door jam of the truck for towing info the label says
front.......3700 lb.......rear............3900 lb......... GVWR....3085 KG (6800 LB)
what does this number mean and again sorry for this dumb question

Max weight for your truck is 6800 lbs. That includes the truck, the passengers, and whatever cargo. Front and rear ratings are max weight on each axle. (note that they add up to more than the truck is rated for by total weight......)

Should also be a GCWR number there as well. (gross combined weight rating) That would be the total weight of truck, and trailer. (and everything in them.)
