Hemi Exhaust Manifold
Hi I’m new to this forum and ran across the same issue with exhaust noise at cold engine start up mine is a 2019 ram with 58k miles Monday have an appointment scheduled visit at local dodge my question here is since so many owners are having the same issues for all these years and dodge keeps building 5.7 with no improvement on to stop the braking of the bolts I call this a liger law suite against the mfg for not correcting the problem does any one else on this issue agrees or dodge wins
The problem is the manifold design itself. Replace the stock manifolds with some decent shorty headers, and the problem is solved, permanently. You might have a case for a class action suit, but, it would be years before it was resolved......
I'm new here just joined, I have a '15 RAM with 120k and just had the driver side manifold replaced. I attempted to do it my self with 2 front studs broken off and not the aft which is different from what I have read in the forum. I had a 3rd stud seized in there which was difficult to get out that I rounded. So to ease my time and my limited tool supplies I gave in and took it to a shop and it only cost me 900 minus the parts that I already had on hand from Carid.com for the manifold and local auto parts for the studs.
