Default Rear fender rust

2008 Dodge Ram 1500 and bubbles started to appear on both rear fenders above the wheels. Is there a rust warranty?
Thanks, Gene in Oklahoma.

5 years, or 100,000 miles.

Since you're beyond the time limit for warranty, this doesn't really matter, but typically rust warranties only warrant against penetration. So rust bubbles often would not be covered by warranty until they become holes.

Fortunately my 09 doesn't show any signs of bubbling right now. I plan to remove the tail lights and stick a pressure washer wand up in there to blow any possible crud out of the wheel well joint. After it's dry I'm going to drill a couple of holes just above the wheel well (on the inside of the bed) and spray as much rusty metal primer as I can into the joint (I have some rubber plugs made for 10mm holes to plug them afterwards). Dunno if it will help, but I figure it's better than just watching it rust.
