Default 2500 help!

I’m looking to buy a 2500. I test drove a 2015 2500 5.7 hemi and a 6.4 hemi and the 5.7 seemed faster. The 6.4 seemed sluggish off the start. why is that?

I’m going to look at one with 3.73 axle ratio and am hoping that one wasn’t the slow one. Is the 4.10 a lot quicker? I was told to try to get that if I’m getting bigger tires but will the 3.73 b ok?
